TUESDAY...
* WHAT...Heavy amounts of freezing rain and snow are expected. Some
sleet is also possible. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 7
inches and ice accumulations around a half inch are forecast.
* WHERE...The Winter Storm Warning is for a portion of east central
Kentucky.
* WHEN...The Winter Storm Warning is from 7 AM Sunday to 7 AM EST
Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Expect power outages and tree damage due to the ice.
Travel could be impossible. The hazardous conditions will affect
the Monday morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will develop on Sunday morning, and then
mix with or change to freezing rain in the afternoon and evening.
Remaining precipitation will change back to snow late Sunday night
and Monday morning. The heaviest precipitation is expected Sunday
afternoon and Sunday night. Although total snowfall amounts of 4
to 7 inches are forecast, the largest amount on the ground at any
