...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CST SUNDAY...
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of western Kentucky, including the following
counties, Calloway, Fulton, Graves and Hickman and southeast
Missouri, including the following counties, Mississippi and New
Madrid.
* WHEN...Until 300 AM CST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 856 PM CST, Streams in parts of southwest Kentucky were
beginning to leave their banks. Around an inch of rain has
fallen since 6 pm and another inch or so of rain is possible
through 11 pm.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Murray, Mayfield, Portageville, East Prairie, New Madrid,
Fulton, Hickman, Clinton, Lilbourn, Towosahgy State Historic
Site, Big Oak Tree State Park, Hunter-Dawson State Historic
Site, Matthews, Marston, Howardville, Fulgham, Cayce, Dorena,
Sedalia and Lynnville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
